The Long Weekend is a unique cocktail bar located in an historic 1920’s bank building at the corner of Columbus and Broadway in North Beach, San Francisco. The bar offers a dynamic cultural experience, changing its theme every nine months to showcase a different destination.
Our first destination is Havana.
The name "Long Weekend" reflects the idea of cultural holidays, brief vacations, and day trips, creating a sense of escape and celebration every day.
The first iteration, Long Weekend Havana, offers an experience of the enchanting City through music, audio, color, art, and its famous cocktails such as the Daiquiri, Mojito, Cubata and the Cuba Libre.
The immersive experience will feature live traditional and modern Cuban musical performances. Original audio recorded in the bars, cafes and the streets of Havana during our recent visits complement the aural immersion.

The Long Weekend Havana experience will feature live traditional and modern Cuban music performances, curated by locally based, renowned Cuban composer and pianist, Alejandro Del Valle. Original audio recorded in the bars, the cafes and the streets of Havana during our recent visits complement the aural immersion throughout the establishment.
Live music will pop-up in the various spaces inside the building. It could be a Cuban trio serenading tables in the Barra Principal, or a Cuban Reggaeton DJ surprising the guests in the underground "La Bóveda" bar.
The Music of Cuba
The beverage program at Long Weekend is crafted by Jayson Wilde, Beverage Director of Future Bars, blending creativity with approachability. Designed to be fun and adventurous, the menu invites guests to enjoy the experience without needing lengthy cocktail descriptions—though the team is always happy to share the stories behind each drink.
Centered around classic Daiquiris and Mojitos, guests can choose from flavors like strawberry, tropical, and watermelon, served shaken, blended, or over shaved ice. Signature highlights include the Hotel Nacional, Bumbo, and chocolatey Mulata, alongside Cuban-inspired non-rum options like the Princessa, Malecon Tropical, and Hombre Cohete.
Every cocktail celebrates the vibrant flavors of Cuba, bringing warmth and energy to San Francisco’s North Beach—¡Salud!
